We recently posted some updates for Pendennis Headland, including safety improvements, a community meeting, and a call out to volunteers. The Pendennis Leisure team has been working hard to finally get the old Ships & Castles site reopened in some capacity.

Meetings have been taking place on site (Image: Pendennis Leisure)

Those behind the project have requested lots of different volunteers with different skills (Pendennis Headland: How you can get involved)but this Saturday (18th of March) they will be calling on the whole community to come and join them for an outside maintenance day.

It doesn't matter who you are, as long as you are happy to help then they need you. The aim of the day will be to tidy up and give the site some much-needed love. Children are welcome but must be accompanied/supervised by an adult.

The team has also asked that anybody with tools that could be useful for outside maintenance to bring them along, if you have any questions about what to bring you can contact [email protected] / 07812 167540.

Volunteers have been asked to meet at 10:00 AM at the old Ships & Castles site, you must also register that you will be attending here: https://forms.gle/rrd2UwiKE2DNpnfS7
