Back in October 2022, Nub News reported on the closure of the Truro-based brewery Skinners which makes some of the most popular ales in Cornwall.

The news left many people in Falmouth shocked( Falmouth reacts to Skinners Brewery closure) but yesterday it was announced on the website of accountancy firm Bishop Fleming that a buyer had been found.

Although details for the buyers haven't been confirmed Bishop Fleming says that they are pleased to confirm that a sale of the Company's business and assets to an unconnected party has been agreed upon.

Luke Venner, Restructuring Director at Bishop Fleming, said: "As Joint Administrator, we are delighted to secure the sale of the Company's business and assets, subject to contract, which will realise significant funds for the benefit of Company creditors."

Any potential updates may be available on the Skinners website: Skinner's Brewery.
