Road reopens following collision near Penryn

There was queuing traffic around Penryn this morning following an accident.

A reported collision near A39 Treluswell Roundabout just before 10am resulted in delays along a busy stretch of road into Perranarworthal, close to Treluswell Farm.

Police said the road was blocked after an incident involving a van and a car - no injuries were reported in the accident. The road reopened at around 11:30am.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News:

"A two-vehicle RTC was reported to us at 9:45am today (18th January). Involved a van and a car on the A39 at Saint Gluvias, Penryn (near Treluswell roundabout). No injuries reported. Road was blocked heading towards Falmouth. All reopened by 11:30am."
