Falmouth: Green light given for new coffee spot in Tregoniggie Industrial Estate

Planning permission has been granted for a new coffee spot in Falmouth, Tregoniggie Industrial Estate.

Submitted by Amelia Smith, the plans will see a coffee shop container built on the estate.

The designs show a seating area and a kitchen, opening from 8am-3pm.

There were no objections to the proposal with Falmouth Town Council giving approval for the plans.

Devon and Cornwall Police also saw no issues with the proposal, the forces Architectural Liaison Officer commented:

"I can see no particular issues with this proposal from a crime view.

"Obviously, the doors and windows to the container must be secure and it is advised that these meet a certified security standard.

"The facility is advised to have an intruder alarm installed ideally monitored and compliant with National Police Chiefs Councils' current guidance."
