Richard Millie Cup

Saturday 10th - Wednesday 14th June

Falmouth will be the first stop in the inaugural edition of The Richard Mille Cup which has been created out of a passion for the beauty of great design and fine workmanship, for a love of competition and classic yachts.

The Royal Cornwall Yacht Club in Falmouth will host the opening reception on Saturday the 10th of June which will then be followed by three days of inshore racing in Falmouth Bay. The boats will be Leaving their berths and moorings around 09:30 each day for a 10:30 am start.

At the heart of this race is a desire to create a challenging sporting event that pushes competitors across a range of coastal and offshore races, With all of the vessels built or designed before 1940, the Richard Mille Cup will showcase a number of classic yachts while recreating historic races.

The race combines inshore regattas with offshore courses between 65 and 100 nautical miles long, on both the English and French sides of the Channel.

This debut event, of what will become an annual occurrence, is organised with the help of the Royal Yacht Squadron, the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club, the Royal Dart Yacht Club, and the Société des Régates du Havre.
