Mawnan Film Club: Elvis

Mawnan Film Club is part of C Fylm, a network of community film clubs for Cornwall. The club in Mawnan is based at the Memorial Hall, they aim to show films varied in nature, on a monthly basis.

This week: Elvis

Whilst on a mission to transform the mainstream rock and roll culture of the USA, singer Elvis Presley uses his fame to highlight racism within the country.

At your first C-Fylm screening, you will need to buy a membership that costs £6 and is valid for the next 12 months. If you are booking for your first time at the film club, or you haven't renewed your membership since last year, you'll need to select 'new member' and enter your details instead of completing a membership form on the door.

This helps collect your membership information without a queue at the door and reduces the amount of paper used in the C-Fylm office.

If you are already a member, just enter your last name and membership number which can be found on your membership card, and this will unlock discounted prices.
