It has today been announced that Will Keating, Cornish singer and member of The Oggymen, will be hosting the live stream that will lead the sing-along after the Clap For Carers celebrations tonight.
Voices Of The Borough has over six thousand supporters - all of whom will be singing across the county, country and world tonight.
Will Keating told Nub News:
"I came across Voices of the Borough on Facebook as I was tagged fairly early on and was asked if I was happy for my version of Harry Glasson's classic song to be used.
"I, of course, said yes and tagged Harry so he would know what was going on. Since then the idea to stream live from my house came about, as I would be singing the song anyway.
"It is all very exciting as the audience has grown dramatically and are all over the world. Singing is good for the soul and can lighten peoples spirits so I am very proud to be involved."
In just three days of existing, Shelley Peters and Rachel Gerred-Hart have organised what is set up to be a world-wide Cornish moment.
A celebration of everyone's strength in Cornwall during these difficult times, and a show of community love, respect and togetherness.
Shelly Peters told Nub News:
"Having Will supporting us is absolutely amazing and beyond anything, we imagined when we started this.
I am so happy that he is giving his time, but I am not surprised, we all pull together in times of crisis in Cornwall, it's what we do best."
Rachel Gerred-Hart said:
"I am overwhelmed and overjoyed at bringing people together on a global platform.
"Cannot thank Will enough for his support."
Visit Voices Of The Borough to learn more about the sing-along later.
Roll on tonight!
