The Council have announced that all rubbish and recycling collections will continue as normal throughout the Easter Bank Holiday.

The Council have said:

"If your rubbish and recycling are due to be collected on Good Friday or Easter Monday, please put it out as normal for 7am - but remember collection times may vary."

Rubbish and recycling during coronavirus

The Council have advised that if anyone in your household has coronavirus symptoms, that you put used tissues and cloths in a bin bag and tie when full.

After 72 hours place the bag into a second bin bag and also tie this, then put it out separately from your other rubbish.

Waste and recycling centres

The Council have said that household waste and recycling centres remain closed for the time being.

They ask that you hold on to anything that can't be put out for kerbside collection.
