Pendennis Brass Open Rehearsal - Sunday 5th Mar 2023

On Sunday the 5th of March you can celebrate St Pirans Day with the Pendennis Brass Falmouth band, they will be holding an open rehearsal at the Mawnan Memorial Hall as they prepare for the upcoming regional brass band championships in Torquay.

The band posted on social media hoping to see as many faces as possible to celebrate, Pendennis Brass said: "Join us for a special 'open rehearsal' style concert that promises to be a truly unique experience. You'll have the opportunity to see our talented musicians in action as they fine-tune their skills and perfect their performances for the big day.

"We will be showcasing a short programme of Cornish music in addition to performing and rehearsing our set work, Chorale and Toccata by Stephen Bulla. This is your chance to see how we make the magic happen and help us steady our nerves ahead of the final performance. We've already been rehearsing tirelessly and are keen as mustard to share our progress with you.

Doors will open at the hall from 5:30 pm with a 6:00 pm start, there is no cost but donations are welcome.
