UPDATE: Photos from the active Penryn bomb scare incident

Police, Royal Navy and the fire service are currently attending an incident in Penryn after the discovery of a 'suspicious incendiary device'.

Falmouth Nub News was live at the scene, find the stream here.

Found at the back door of the Masonic Lodge on New Street, Penryn at 11.10am this morning, a 20 metre cordon was put in place.

A police spokesperson told Nub News:

"A team from the Royal Navy Explosive Ordinance Control attended while door to door enquiries were carried out.

"Police are treating the discovery as arson with intent to endanger life.

"Incident ongoing."
