A Falmouth woman who had an unfortunate running accident yesterday morning has been reconnected with the woman who helped her.

Michelle Brown, 42, was running near Kernick Road B&Q when she tripped over.

"I didn't have time to stop myself with my hands and my face took full force," Michelle previously told Nub News.

A 'lovely lady' stopped to help Michelle out of the road and drove her home.

An appeal on social media and Nub News helped Michelle to reconnect with the mystery helper this morning.

Michelle said: "I found the lovely lady who helped me she is called Helen and works at Penryn College, she called me this morning to see how I was after she heard I was wanting to speak to her."

The fall caused Michelle multiple cuts and bruises and at the moment she has described her face as 'unrecognisable'.

Michelle said: "I'm very sore today but I'm getting there. My face is unrecognisable but it's healing."
