A Falmouth woman who had a running accident this afternoon is appealing for the woman who helped her.

Michelle Brown, 42, tripped during her run today - she has sustained cuts and bruises to her face and legs.

The woman who helped Michelle has been described as "lovely and kind".

The only information Michelle knows about her is that she is a teacher.

Michelle told Nub News: "I was running and the next thing I was crossing the road and I face-planted the ground.

"Must have got my foot clipped on the curb or loose gravel.

"I didn't have time to stop myself with my hands and my face took full force."

Michelle was helped out of the road by B&Q and taken home by the mystery woman.

She has now taken to social media to try and find her helper to say thank you.
