The fines issued by Cornwall Council this year - from littering to dog fouling

Dozens of people have been fined by Cornwall Council this year for everything from littering to breaking dog beach bans.
The council has the power to issue on the spot penalty fines for a number of offences and has published details of those which have been handed out this year.
Offenders have been fined between £50 and £400 for a variety of offences at locations across Cornwall. In total 54 fixed penalty notices were issued, although five of those were later cancelled.
The highest fines – each £400 – were issued for offences of fly-tipping with the lowest fines – £50 – for littering.
In January three fines were issued – one in Newquay for not having a dog on a lead; one in St Erth for fly tipping; and one in St Agnes for dog fouling.
Council staff issued fines in February for dog fouling in Bodmin; and two fines for dog fouling in Porthleven.
There were another two dog fouling fines issued in Porthleven in March and in April there were dog fouling fines in St Teath and Perranzabuloe.
Multiple fixed penalty notices were issued in May including two for dog fouling in Porthleven; other dog fouling notices were handed out in Breage, Lansallos; and Forrabury and Minster.
May also saw fines for dog owners taking their pets on beaches where there were dog bans in St Agnes and St Ives; and there were two fines for littering, one in Porthleven and another in St kew.
Fines for taking dogs on beaches where bans were in place were issued in June in Falmouth, St Ives and Newquay; and there were also fines for dogs not on leads and dog fouling in Newquay and Perranzabuloe.
July saw a number of fines issued all for offences related to dogs – two for breaching dog beach bans in Hayle; three in Breage; one in St Ives and one in Newquay.
There were also fines issued in July for dog fouling with one in Perranzabuloe; one in Newquay and one in Porthleven.
In August council officers issued a fine for littering in St Ives and fines for dog fouling in Calstock and Illogan. There were also two for breaching dog beach bans in Breage and Hayle.
September saw a fine issued in Camborne for "smoking in work" and there were also a number for fly tipping in Illogan, Tintagel, Kilkhampton and Carn Brea.
