An interactive map has shown the exact percentage of people that have had their first and second Covid jabs in each area of Falmouth.

A map on the Government website allows users to view up to date percentages of everyone aged 12 and above who has received each vaccine.

The data is broken down into each area of Falmouth (zoom in on the map to see road names), allowing us to see which areas of the town are most vaccinated.

The percentage of people aged 12+ vaccinated up to and including 18th December can be found in full below:

Falmouth North

1st dose 79.1%

2nd dose 72.6%

Falmouth East

1st dose 82.8%

2nd dose 77.4%

Falmouth West & South

1st dose 88.3%

2nd dose 82.9%

Ponsanooth, Mabe Burnthouse & Constantine

1st dose 84.9%

2nd dose 79.1%

Mylor Bridge & Frogpool

1st dose 89.3%

2nd dose 84.5%

Penryn

1st dose 81.5%

2nd dose 75.6%

As you can see from the stats the area of Mylor Bridge and Frogpool has one of the highest vaccine rates with over 89% of residents having a 1st dose.

The least vaccinated area is Falmouth North with only 72.6% of people having a second dose.

Looking wider for Cornwall and Isles of Scilly overall - 1st doses have been distributed to 86.1% of people, and 2nd doses to 80.3%.

Unfortunately, there is not yet any data available on how many local residents have received their booster jabs, but this will likely be revealed in the future and we will be sure to post an update here on Nub News.
