Man to appear in court after alleged sexual assault in Falmouth

A man is set to appear in court following a reported serious sexual assault in Falmouth.

Davlatsho Davlatshoev, 23, will go before magistrates sitting in Bodmin today (17th).

Officers were called to a report of a sexual assault at an address in Falmouth in the early hours of Sunday 5th December.

Following the incident, police have charged the 23-year-old man from Hayle with rape.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson stated:

"Davlatsho Davlatshoev, aged 23, of Gwinear Road, Connor Downs, Hayle, has been charged with rape.

"He is due to appear before Bodmin Magistrates' Court today (17th December)."
