A Falmouth team has been out on a mission delivering covid test kits to local businesses.

Distributing around 2,000 LFT kits today (16th) were Town Manager Richard Gates, and BID's Richard Wilcox - joined by volunteers Councillors Steve Eva the Mayor of Falmouth, Deputy Mayor Kirsty Edwards, and Jayne Kirkham.

This will be the third time they have pushed for and then delivered these to support as many businesses as possible - distributing thousands in the process.

"Falmouth was the first town in Cornwall to do this and others then followed suit," Falmouth BID Manager Richard Wilcox stated in a weekly update.

He continued:

"We have delivered to as many as possible in the time we had available today. If you have not received one, more are available to collect from our offices on The Moor, so do feel free to pop in or send a member of staff down to get one for your premises. With supplies being challenging nationwide, this will be limited to a box per person (7 tests per box)."
