Michael Caines restaurant The Cove, Maenporth, has reopened its doors this week for alfresco dining.

The Cove is open for the first time since December after lockdown, with Michael working with Group Executive Head Chef Liam Finnegan to refine the all-day-and-evening menus.

The restaurant reopened today (May 3rd) for Alfresco dining on the outdoor terrace and glasshouse open to the sea air directly overlooking Maenporth Beach.

They then plan to fully reopen from May 17th for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week.

A spokesperson for The Cove added:

"Cornwall has such a wealth of wonderful produce and we aim to source the very best for you to enjoy with us, from cake and coffee in the morning to my signature tasting menu in the evening.

"It's been a difficult time for so many of us but hopefully brighter days lie just ahead. In fact, the most beautiful time of the year is almost upon us and there is no better time to visit and discover Cornwall."
