Police have been contacted after cars were left with extensive damage on Trelawney and Killigrew Street overnight (3rd).

Shared by a local resident on social media, Kate, posted a video of cars along Trelawney and Killigrew with nearly all vehicles along the street having their wing mirrors damaged or totally broken off.

In images shared of the wing mirrors (around 9 in total), Kate said it was clearly done with "some force".

Kate said:

"I mean this always happens when there is some kind of drunken thing on, last year I had my back windscreen smashed, just really frustrating."

She has reported the incident to Devon and Cornwall Police and Crimestoppers.

The police have been approached for further comment.

Kate added:

"Don't know how much it is gonna cost to fix it. We have reported it to Crimestoppers, there are about 9 cars in total. I'm still going out today, it isn't going to ruin my day."

More information to follow when we have it.
