Since the arrival of the Bibby Stockholm barge in Falmouth on the 9th of May there have been a number of protests organised by the group 'Cornwall resists' they have also organised a Public meeting and started crowdfunding to make sure the Bibby Stockholm protests won't go away.

You can find more information and the timeline of protests in the link above.

On Monday the group started their 'week of resistance' with seven different forms of protests planned. You can see them in the image below.

A week of protests with Cornwall Resists

The group has planned and asked people to take to the streets to create art or display banners to spread the message. Today's plan (Wednesday 14th June) was to target the phone lines of A&P who operate out of Falmouth Docks and have been refurbishing the Bibby Stockholm barge.

Nub News has contacted the company for a comment about the protests.

Cornwall resists has said that the 'phone jamming' technique is used to impact the productivity of a company and to put pressure on the organisation to listen to the public.

They have told members of the public to ring up either A&P, Portland Port (where the barge will be heading) or Coastal Crime to say you want to complain about the barge.
