Numerous individuals were arrested yesterday evening following a public order incident in Falmouth.

Brief details of the incident were shared on social media by 'The Hungry Copper' with the incident happening just before midnight (12th). It was later confirmed to be pub related.

The officer wrote on social media:

"Three arrests for officers in Falmouth tonight due to a large public order incident.

"Thankfully the job came in before midnight, as it meant we had 2 shifts working at the same time and the necessary resources to help deal with and diffuse the situation. Investigations ongoing."

Devon and Cornwall Police have been contacted for further comment.
