Police appeal for information following stabbing in Falmouth

Police have launched an investigation following a stabbing which happened on Saturday 26 October on Webber Hill in Falmouth.

Officers were notified to reports of a serious assault on a man at his flat on Webber Hill at around 11.40pm. The man was taken to hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition.

The offender entered the victim's flat and stabbed him in the arm several times before making off from the scene.

DC Gail Windsor said: "Whilst this is clearly a shocking incident, we believe it was isolated in its nature.

"The suspect has been described as a white man and was wearing a black bomber jacket with a white t-shirt underneath. He had a black covering over his nose and mouth and was wearing a black peaked hat.

"We are appealing for anyone with information to come forward via 101 quoting crime reference number CR/96899/19."
