Penryn and Falmouth Foodbank appeal for most needed supplies

Penryn and Falmouth Foodbank have put out a weekly reminder of items that are most needed.

In the regular notice, the foodbank thanked residents for the continued support and generous donations.

A spokesperson for the Foodbank said:

"Over the next few weeks we will be including certain items which will help to make Christmas a little more special for our clients."

An update for this week of the items which are most needed:

Male and Female Anti-perspirant Deodorant

Shampoo

Long Life Milk

Small Jars Coffee

Jam

Sweets and Chocolates

Wet and Dry Dog Food

Wet and Dry Cat Food

Christmas:

2 x tins of meat

1 x tin of potatoes

1 x tin of sweetcorn/green veg

1 x tin of carrots

1 x jar of cranberry sauce

1 x gravy granules

Stuffing

1 x Christmas pudding

Mince Pies

1 x Tin Custard or Tin Cream

1 x Tin of Fruit

Packet of Christmassy biscuits

Box of chocolates

Packet of savoury nibbles

Christmas cake or chocolate log

Soft drink (no alcohol please)

The local drop-off points are:

Asda

Tesco Metro

Natural Store

Methodist Church Foyer – Falmouth

Co-op Boslowick

And you can also drop off items directly at the Foodbank on Mondays between 10am and 1pm and on Thursdays from 2pm until 4pm.
