A new online group has been set up so residents in Falmouth and the surrounding area can still get their Christmas shopping done.

Falmouth Online Christmas Market is a place where people can share crafts and other items that they want to sell, all within COVID secure guidelines.

There will still be a market on The Moor from the 3rd - 6th December, where you can enjoy music, homemade food, cakes, mulled wine, gifts and clothing.

The group has grown rapidly after being set up Ross Johnson on the 9th November, over 500 members have joined already.

In that time people have been sharing their crafting ideas and promoting their businesses - including David Perry Glass & Ceramics, The Craftybee and Yellow Snail Pebble Art.

The group has been welcomed with excitement from residents with one posting:

"Absolutely fantastic idea."

A second read:

"Great idea!"
