Swim Wild Academy, the sister company of Swim Wild Cornwall, will be starting a new programme of children's swimming lessons on Monday 12th April at Pendennis Lodge in Falmouth.

Swim Wild Academy offers small group classes for children aged 3 years and over with a strong emphasis on making learning to swim fun and enjoyable whilst building water confidence and ability.

Every 10-week course has a built-in specific water safety session designed to give each child confidence when in the water whether that be the pool or sea.

Charlotte Francis, the founder of Swim Wild Academy, has over 15 years of experience teaching swimming in the UK. During this time she has also worked for Swim England organising the much loved Swim Safe programme.

She said:

"Swimming is a vital skill that could one day save your life. Being able to swim and having water confidence enables you to live a life full of aquatic adventures.

"Learning the fundamentals of swimming and then developing these skills can open up the world to not only swimming but to kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing and much more which is essential when living next to the coast."
