There will be a new RNLI shop opening in Falmouth next month and the team is looking for volunteers to help run it.

Falmouth's RNLI shop closed in December 2022 to make space for better crew-changing facilities at the lifeboat station.

With the support of Falmouth Harbour Commissioners, a new RNLI shop will be opening in mid-June on 44 Arwenack Street.

The shop will sell a curated range of RNLI products and help raise vital funds for Falmouth's lifeboats and their volunteer crew.

The role of a Shop Volunteer:

  • Delivering the smooth day-to-day running of the shop, maintaining a safe environment, and alerting line management to any issues.
  • Offering a great shopping experience, creating a friendly and welcoming environment.
  • Operating the till (including end of day cashing up) and card machine.
  • Championing the RNLI, its key messages, One Crew ethos, and building its reputation in the local area

If you'd like to find out more about volunteering then you can join the team for a coffee on Saturday 3 June at the new shop from 10 am - 12 pm.

If you can't make it but still want to volunteer and join the team you can email [email protected] or apply online here.
