Man grabbed and robbed by duo in early hours in centre of Falmouth

A man was grabbed by two people and robbed in a terrifying ordeal in Falmouth last night.

On Thursday 14th October in the Market Street/Church Street area of the town, just before 4am, a man was said to have been set on by two men and grabbed by the neck, his watch was stolen in the incident.

Police have launched an appeal for any witnesses, including taxi drivers who might have been out at the time and accommodation providers, where the pair might be staying.

The suspects are two males, one male is described as black, in his 20s, 6 feet 2 inches in height, medium build, wearing white/grey clothing.

The other male is described as of Asian appearance, in his 20s, 5 feet 6 inches in height, slim build, short hair, wearing a black and orange top.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police added:

"Please can accommodation providers check to see if males of similar description are staying/or have stayed with you.

"We ask for any taxi drivers who may have taken a fare from males of this description to make contact, also anyone with information, or with CCTV in the area mentioned is asked to phone 101 or email [email protected] quoting log 97 14th October 2021."
