Man from Falmouth dies following three-vehicle crash

A man from Falmouth has died following a serious crash, police revealed this morning.

Police attended a three-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at around 3.45pm yesterday (13th) on the A38 at Glynn Valley, near Two Waters Foot.

The vehicles involved were a white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Luton van, a white Citroen Relay van and a silver Ford Mondeo.

A 62-year-old Falmouth man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The other people in the vehicles sustained minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"Specialist officers from Devon & Cornwall Police's Alliance Roads Policing Team attended as well as a Forensic Collision Investigator and a Scenes of Crime Officer.

"A full investigation of the scene took place and officers are working to establish the cause of the collision.

"Police would like to thank the public for their patience while they investigated the scene."

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage, they are asked to contact the police on 101 or by emailing [email protected] quoting log number 552.
