Maenporth Beach Cafe have announced they are getting closer to a reopening.

Leann Wright, owner of Life's A Beach, with her son James have faced a "long journey" after a fire destroyed the business in May 2019 - but this is an exciting new future for the cafe.

The cafe is set to reopen for two days over the weekend (27th-28th February) for hot/cold drinks, snacks, Helford Bakes Cakes, ice cream and pasties from the shack.

They will be closed completely from Monday 1st March for the last push for completion and to move everything in.

If the move goes to plan and with staff training to be completed and some external works to be carried out the team are aiming to reopen on Tuesday 9th March.

The relaunch coincides with planned roadworks on Maenporth Road commencing 8th March till 4th April with a diversion in place from the Falmouth approach.

"Keep watching for some sneak peeks and we will keep you updated along the way," James and Leann added.
