In pictures: Prizes handed out in Penryn Christmas window competition



The winners of Penryn's Christmas window competition have been presented with their prizes.
This week, Penryn Town councillors Tracey Doyle and Karen Milan were on hand to deliver certificates, bubbly, and chocolates to the winners.
There was praise from the Town Council who thanked everyone for taking part to make the town look fabulous.
They added:
"Special mention to Mark Snowdon Chairman of the Penryn Lighting Committee and volunteers for the great Christmas light display and trees again this year."
Earlier in December - a huge crowd of people lined the streets for the town's switch on.
Former mayor Charles "Chaz" Wenmoth commented at the time:
"I am very proud of Penryn and I'm sure you are as well. In the last 6 months, I have noticed many new Penryn faces. Prior to Christmas, I would like to invite you and your family to join our community. You are most welcome, wherever you come from, welcome to Penryn."
