Social campaigner and Premier League striker Marcus Rashford's campaign to provide food for hungry school children during half-term begins from today.

Businesses in and around Falmouth have been flooding in to offer free school lunches after MPs voted not to extend the meals scheme in England.

One of the places in Falmouth offering free school lunches is The Windjammer.

Marcus Rashford shared The Windjammer on Twitter as one of the places offering free meals.

Owned by Oliver and Jake, they told Nub News:

"We have heard what is going on in the news and we have opened this business during a pandemic, we know how difficult it can be.

"We both have young kids and we are fortunate enough to feed our kids but we know other people are losing hours of pay so it is probably the easiest thing for us to do, produce food and offer it for free.

"Just giving back something to the community as well, we have lots of support since we opened and we felt it was something we should do following that big support."
