More information has been released to clarify how road closures will affect Falmouth businesses and residents.
The guidance comes after confusion over road closures, deliveries, and identification during the G7 Summit in June.
The major three-day international event will see leaders from the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the US, as well as invited leaders from Australia, India, and South Korea.
The event will host world leaders at Carbis Bay on June 11th to 13th, with neighbouring St Ives and the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth will welcome international delegates and media.
Falmouth Town Manager Richard Gates said:
"Arwenack Street/Grove Place do not have any plans in place for a road closure (outside of the daily 11am-4pm that is already through the town centre and halfway along Arwenack Street.
"Obviously if traffic builds up so much in this area then there maybe some temporary management to reduce congestion."
Richard Gates confirmed that the only road that will be closed will be Campeltown Way (between Grove Place car park and Maritime car park).
What will be in place is at Grove Place and the no parking/waiting restrictions along the side of the street from 27th May - 19th June.
Richard added:
"Deliveries for businesses can still take place, although from several of the businesses I have already spoken to in this area they are going to reduce their deliveries as much as possible around the actual summit dates (11th-13th) June.
"To clarify, people will not need identification walking around Arwenack Street or Grove Place. The security cordon is Grove Place car park, Maritime Museum car park and Events Square.
"Grove Place toilets are open to the public and will continue to be."
