Falmouth's spice-centric cafe has HOT opening weekend
A Falmouth spice-centric cafe which reopened this weekend for takeaway has told Nub News they have had a successful couple of days.
Spice'n'Ice, situated opposite Trago in Falmouth, had an unlucky launch due to coronavirus restrictions and previously only got to trade for a single day.
Nicki Knuckey, the owner of Spice'n'Ice, made the decision to reopen the doors this weekend to relaunch the cafe as a socially distanced takeaway.
Nicki told Nub News: "I've been pretty busy and had steady custom all weekend, it was definitely worth opening and some of the comments I've had have been lush.
"I've had people saying its the best ice cream ever tasted. Also, two people said they had the best smoothie and shake they'd ever had in their lives!"
The cafe has reopened with a reduced menu of milkshakes, hot drinks, ice cream, smoothies, doggy ice cream and cake (all with an optional chilli twist).
A happy customer who visited the cafe at the weekend wrote on social media:
"I visited today and it was amazing. You did so well and the smoothie I had was sooo delicious!"
Spice'n'Ice will be reopening next Saturday, find out more here.
