Falmouth roadworks: Union Road closure and diversion for resurfacing work

There will be a road closure and a diversion at Union Road next month for resurfacing works.

The diversion will be from Trescobeas Road, down Draceana Avenue to Falmouth Road, 21st June to 25th June.

Emergency access will be maintained at all times during the work, the work will begin 7pm on the 21st and be completed 6am on 25th June.

Cornwall Council added:

"Nothing in this order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer."

The diversion

Hillhead Roundabout, Falmouth. About 6 mins.

Head north-west towards A39, exit the roundabout onto A39, at Ponsharden Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Falmouth Rd/A39

go through 1 roundabout, turn right onto Kimberley Park Rd, continue onto Trescobeas Rd, enter the roundabout, destination will be on the left.
