A warning has been issued to residents after an attempted break into garages in Falmouth this week.

Devon and Cornwall Police urged residents to check out buildings and garages following the most recent incident.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 19th May with damage caused to both the frame and locks between the very early hours and 11:00am Wednesday 19th May, but nothing was believed to have been stolen.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police added:

"Report all incidents of this nature, dialling 999 if offenders are on the premises at the time of your call."

The exact area of the incident was not revealed for privacy reasons.
