Next weekend Falmouth Community Fire Station on Trescobeas Road will host a drive-through Santa's grotto.

Donations will also be accepted for The Fire Fighters Charity and local food banks.

A spokesperson for the fire station said:

"We have a very special visitor flying to the Fire Station, Santa and his helpers.

"After hearing about how good all the local boys and girls have been he has decided to come and bring some festive cheer and wish them a very Merry Christmas.

"You can visit our drive-through Christmas Grotto on Sat 19th December from 4.30pm-8pm to see Santa and receive a small gift for all those good boys and girls.

"We are asking for donations to raise money for both The Fire Fighters Charity and local food banks.

"Can we please ask that this year everyone remains in their vehicles for the duration to aid us with our covid procedures."
