Falmouth: Emergency services on the scene after accident near football club

Expect delays this morning after a collision near the football club.

There have been reports of an incident on Bickland Water Road - the road has reportedly been closed as a result (15th).

One resident told Nub News: "I heard a massive bang from my house, everyone is in shock."

In an update, Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were notified at around 9:50am to Bickland Hill in Falmouth following reports of a collision involving a van and a motorbike.

"The motorbike rider was taken to Derriford Hospital via the Air Ambulance with possible life-changing injuries."
