Falmouth: Bins set alight and destroyed on Gyllyngvase Beach

A huge mess was left on Gyllyngvase Beach Falmouth this week after bins were reportedly set on fire.

Posted by Gylly Beach Cafe, they said that over 12th and 13th of July council and cafe bins were burnt and destroyed.

The incidents are believed to have occurred between 2:30am and 4:30am.

"It's incredible how anyone can want to burn such a large volume of plastic on the beach," the cafe posted on social media.

Devon and Cornwall Police have been approached for further comment.
