Phoenix Cinema, Falmouth, is hosting autism-friendly screenings of movies.

These screenings are open to everyone, with the only difference being that the lights are left on low with the sound turned down.

A spokesperson for Phoenix Cinema said:

"The autism-friendly screenings have been run at many of our cinemas for a while now and are growing in popularity all the time which is excellent."

The autism-friendly screenings will usually be taking place in the mid-morning or early afternoon on the first Sunday of every month.

The Facebook page to the screening of Spies in Disguise, which will be on 5th January at 10:45am, reads:

"Everyone is welcome to attend our Autism Friendly Screenings.

There are no adverts or trailers and those attending are able to get up and move around during the screening.

As with all our screenings, we accept free entry for carers with CEA cards."
