On Saturday, Falmouth return to league action in the Tribute Western Counties West with a fixture against top of the table Wellington.

Last time the two sides met was back in September when The Eagles claimed a 26-19 victory, Wellington's only loss of the season.

Captain Tom Spiller, told Nub News:

"We are now in 2020 and we travel to Wellington this weekend in what looks to be one of the toughest fixtures of the season. They have been going very well this season with 12 wins out of their 13 games. The only loss was to the claws of The Eagles.

"We're expecting revenge. It's going to be a tough, physical challenge on Saturday with a pack that's very well-coached by Graham Dawe and no doubt will want to prove a point.

"We are hoping that new signing Rob Coote who has joined us from Redruth will make his debut. This signing has given the boys a little lift that a player of his quality wants to come and play at Falmouth with his mates.

"Our aim for the remainder of the season is as it has been all year and that's to consolidate our position in Western Counties West. We know we can be more than a match for anyone on our day. Results will come, myself, Graham and the lads strongly believe that. It's just making it happen. Why not this weekend against top of the league?"
