At 8 o'clock tonight Marquees on Falmouth's Events Square Waterfront will host the 2019 CAMRA Kernow Falmouth Beer Festival.
The beer festival will continue through Friday 4th & Saturday 5th October. Opening times 11.00 – 23.00.
A full-capacity crowd is expected, with tickets sold out online.
The event will consist of over 245 Real Ales, 85 Ciders, 20 Cornish Craft Beers, and 15 Cornish Gins.
The theme this year is paying tribute to the Counties proud mining history whilst also celebrating the huge success of Cornish Food and Drink. There is a range of food stalls, from burgers stalls, Asian Curries, fresh seafood, and the flavours of Mexico and Latin American. Including Vegetarian and Vegan options.
There is entertainment from local musicians, with bands Small Wonder and Cyderfex ending each evening. Cornish Brewers and Cider Producers will give tutored tastings and share their brewing tips.
During the festival, there will also be the presentation of the Champion Beers of Cornwall and Ciders of the Festival.
Kernow CAMRA is a branch organised by volunteer members of the Campaign for Real Ale, with the aim of promoting good quality real ale and real cider.
