A member of the "school community" at Penryn College has reported positive from a lateral flow test.

Parents were notified this morning of a positive test, believed to be from one of its students - with the college providing an update.

A spokesperson from Penryn College told Nub News:

"We can confirm that a member of our school community has tested positive for COVID-19 from a lateral flow test.

"As always, we have acted with the health and safety of our students, staff and the local community at the forefront of our minds, and have contacted all parents and carers, including those whose children were deemed to be in 'close contact' with the positive case, as defined by Public Health England."
