Silver

Trengilly Wartha Inn, Falmouth

Bronze

Seven Stars, Penryn

An amazing category for Falmouth and Penryn as they received all three awards for pub of the year, The Boathouse passed on this message:

"The whole team at the Boathouse is ecstatic to be crowned best pub in Cornwall at the Cornish Tourism Awards, especially in such a strong category. It follows rigorous judging including mystery visits and is a testament to the fantastic job the whole crew upholds on a daily basis. We'd like to think our locals, regular customers, and holidaying visitors alike all think of us as a pub for every occasion and we dedicate this award to them. Violet, Alistair, David, and the team."

B&B AND GUESTHOUSE OF THE YEAR:

Silver - The Sandy Duck, Falmouth.

The elegant townhouse built back in 1899 has magnificent far-reaching views over Falmouth Bay towards Pendennis castle and managed to pick up silver in a tough category.

LARGE HOTEL OF THE YEAR:

Gold - Budock Vean Hotel, Falmouth.

With a restaurant renowned for amazing food, Natural Health Spa, luxury 5* Gold Award self-catering holiday homes, cottages, and tennis courts the Budock Vean Hotel picked up Falmouth's only other gold in the large hotel of the year award.

NEW TOURISM BUSINESS AWARD:

Bronze - Trewena Cottages, Penryn.

In February 2021 Rich and Hellen moved onto a 3-acre smallholding and set about transforming it into Trewena, a small holiday cottage complex housing an 1850s labourers cottage and a converted pig barn. They picked up Bronze in the New Tourism Business award.

RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR:

Bronze - Hotel Meudon, Falmouth.

The hotel's proximity to the sea means that the restaurant places a strong emphasis on fresh fish and seafood, while the rural setting ensures a plentiful supply of locally farmed meats and seasonal game. The passionate kitchen team even forages for ingredients on the hotel grounds. All this effort granted them bronze in Cornwall's restaurant of the year.

SMALL VISITOR ATTRACTION OF THE YEAR:

Bronze - Via Ferrata Cornwall, Penryn.

At Via Ferrata, you can push your limits and journey across historic granite quarries on an unforgettable adventure! After scaling cliff faces and balancing across high wires, you'll get to enjoy one of the most scenic zip lines in Cornwall.

TOURISM LEADERSHIP AWARD:

Forever Cornwall, Falmouth

Forever Cornwall offers a unique collection of coastal retreats, helping guests connect with Cornwall through the best of local food, culture, and inspiring adventures, taking home a little piece of Cornwall in the heart.
