Update: The road is now open.

Tweets from Cornwall Council have reported that the A39 Dracaena Avenue in Falmouth has closed for emergency repairs.

This is due to damaged branches overhanging the road.

The closure spans from Ponsharden to the junction with Trescobeas Road and Kimberly Park Road.

It is due to be closed until around 3.30 pm.

Divisions have been put in place via the A39 to the Hill Head roundabout, the Union Corner roundabout and Trescobeas Road in either direction.

We will update as we get more information.
