New in-town covid vaccine clinic secured for Falmouth
Regular covid vaccination clinics look to have been secured for Falmouth and they will be getting underway over the weekend.
Falmouth Town Team has been working hard behind the scenes alongside various partners to get it organised.
Residents will understandably be pleased with this announcement after regular calls for a more permanent fixture in the town following a series of pop-up sites.
The clinic will commence on Sunday 9th January running from 9am-2pm in The Atherton Suite, Old Post Office, on The Moor.
It will be for walk-ins and pre-bookings via the NHS website. Offering first, second, and booster doses.
The new Falmouth vaccination clinic will then continue next week and details of that are due to follow very shortly.
In an update from Richard Gates and Richard Wilcox, they added:
"You will be aware we as a town team have been undertaking a huge amount of work to secure a more substantial and long-term in-town covid vaccination presence for Falmouth.
"This major piece of work, along with the distribution of Lateral Flow Test (LFT) kits, has seen us work with local and national partners such as NHS Kernow, Public Health Cornwall, and Cornwall Council. Reeds Pharmacy and NHS England have been particularly involved in the planning of the permanent site set-up."
