Penryn's Kings Arms, based on Broad Street, will be enforcing a temporary measure over the next seven days, only those fully vaccinated will be allowed to sit indoors.

The "huge decision" was announced earlier this week (finishing this Saturday) with a vaccination card now needing to be shown on entry.

Not to worry if you still want to grab a drink outside, if you haven't been vaccinated you will be asked to make your way down to the beer garden.

The move came after an increase in covid cases in the area and seeing a series of local businesses announcing closures.

A spokesperson for the Kings Arms, said:

"With the influx of people coming into Falmouth, Penryn, and Cornwall in general and the recent awful news of pub closures in and around Falmouth due to the virus, we need to keep our staff and you lovelies as safe as possible.

"This is the only way we feel that fits the criteria of keeping everyone safe and not to put unnecessary strain on our staff that are yet to be vaccinated due to age."
