In the latest update, Chris has been found safe and has been taken to A&E.

An 89-year-old from Falmouth is still missing following a search throughout the night.

Chris Brookes, went for a walk around 6:30pm yesterday from Marlborough Road and didn't return.

20 team members from West Cornwall Search & Rescue Team have searched throughout the night alongside Falmouth Lifeboat, Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team, Porthoustock Coastguard Rescue Team and the Police NPAS.

A vast amount of areas were covered including urban and parkland locations.

Both lifeboats searched the coast and harbour from 2am until 4:30am with no luck.

Unfortunately, Chris is still missing as of 07:30.

"If you are in the Falmouth area please check your gardens and outbuildings, and contact the Police if you have any relevant information," the search and rescue team added.

He is wearing a blue beanie, a blue puffer jacket, green fleece and blue trousers with brown shoes. Described as 5ft 6, slim build.
