Former Co-op Member Pioneer Lesley Perkins would like to say a big thank you to the local community and her Co-op colleagues.
Lesley has been the Co-op Member Pioneer for Falmouth, Penryn and St Mawes for the past four years, working with the Co-op and the local community to make a difference for the better. She is now moving on from her role.
Lesley said: "I've had an amazing time over the last four years as the local Co-op Member Pioneer, supporting the Co-op in its community agenda. It's a nice role, very community focused."
She also works in health and social care and says her role as a Co-op Member Pioneer (community liaison) has been helpful in this.
Lesley, who moved to Falmouth from Manchester, added: "It's been great to work with local groups and get to know the community.
"Things in isolation don't work for long. We are one big community."
Lesley will continue to work in health and social care but says she would be open to working with Co-op again in the future.
Clipper Way Co-op store manager Simon Berryman said: ""I would like to wish Lesley all the best for the future, she has been a great support connecting the store with the local community with a variety of projects and fundraising, as well as driving the Co-op membership and ethos. She will be missed by everyone at the store and in the wider area."
