On Saturday, Falmouth RFC return to Tribute Western Counties action and welcome St Austell to The Recreation Ground.

Last time out The Eagles suffered a Cornwall Cup defeat against local rivals Truro.

Captain Tom Spiller told Nub News:

"Another local derby and a big test for us and what we are about this week.

"St Austell have had a very good start to their campaign and are going to pose a stern test for us on Saturday and we will have to be at our very best to come out on top. I believe in the boys and our systems and I am sure we can pose some problems for St Austell.

"Hoping the guys take the positives out of last week's cup game against Truro, we played well for a majority of the game and thought our halfbacks managed it quite well. Just some little errors costing us dear.

"Being at home is always nice and the rec is a great place to play and Paul does a great job in keeping it as good as it is."

Elsewhere, Falmouth 2's travel away to take on St Austell 2's.
