We may be a few months off the start of the cricket season but Falmouth Cricket Club is already on the lookout for new members and volunteers to get involved with their local club.

The club will host its annual general meeting on the 20th of January at the clubhouse and will be opening its doors to all members and future members of the club, they would love to hear from local people that have an interest in the sport or from those that might be thinking of starting a new sport.

Falmouth Cricket Club has also announced that they are looking for three volunteers to take on specific roles at the club:

MEMBERSHIP MANAGER

The club is seeking a Voluntary Membership Manager with an interest in the role.

SPONSORSHIP MANAGER

Are you interested in a Voluntary Sponsorship Manager role?

Do you have the skills on developing relationships with new sponsors, existing sponsors, and marketing

GROUNDSTAFF

Seeking Voluntary Groundstaff with an interest in the area.

All training you need will be provided, just a couple hours a week to help your local cricket club.

Contact chaiman Mark Averiess if you are interested in any of the roles above

If you're more interested in actually playing the sport itself then don't worry Falmouth Cricket club is also on the hunt for players, with 4 senior teams, and a thriving junior section there's no better time to join.
