Local coastguard rescue teams are set to feature on television this weekend.
On More4 at 9pm on Sunday (13th) members from Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team and Porthoustock Coastguard Rescue Team will feature in a new series, Emergency Rescue: Air, Land & Sea.

A Falmouth resident has told Nub News about concerns over the amount of masks being littered across town.
The resident, who would prefer to stay anonymous, says that biohazard bins should be in place so masks can be disposed of properly.

A student veterinary nurse based in Falmouth has been looking after a mouse that was found in the middle of the road by a worried resident.
Now named 'Little Patti', the young mouse was given to Chloe Mai Burrows after she reached out to the resident who was appealing for help on social media.

On Saturday evening Lauren Turner was roared into Gyllynvase Beach, Falmouth as she completed a 24 over 24 charity challenge.
Calling it the "hardest but most amazing thing" she has ever done, Lauren saw off 24km over 24 beaches in one day to raise money for disaster relief charity ShelterBox.
